i try to eat breakfast daily. sometimes i start working the moment i wake and don't actually eat until lunch time. bad habits.

Amanda

i do simple breakfasts -- i think it's important to start the day eating something right and oftentimes homemade. yours looks delicious.

sometimes my breakfast is greek yogurt, honey, homemade granola all mixed in a bowl sitting in my lap while i drive to class. :)

Ashley

I go through phases too, right now is an egg done a different way every morning. Usually I have the same thing until all of a sudden I'm tired of it :)

Rowena

In the winter I like steel cut oats topped with a fried egg and soy sauce in the morning. I know it sounds odd but I swear it's delicious.

Christie Jones

I do this all the time. I've been on almost the same kick - vanilla yogurt, mixed berries, and almond granola.

Anna

Yes. If I don't my blood sugar gets out of whack and I get shaky. I hate it. Lately I'm all about cinnamon oatmeal.

Meg

there's homemade granola sitting prettily in a jar on my counter - today was my first meal of granola & warmed almond milk, and i'm looking forward to enjoying it every day this week!

Jay

I'm trying to actually eat breakfast! that's my first goal. the past few years while in school, I skipped breakfast since I needed to get to class. My breakfast of choice right now is coffee, a mini bagel and a piece of fruit.

Lena

I started bringing my favorite breakfasts to work, so I'll actually eat! I love a little yogurt and banana nut granola, or a barely ripe banana!

Annie

always always -- I like eating eggs and fruit. I tend to need a protein in the morning.

Michelle

Winter is oats, summer is muesli. Weekends are pancakes or french toast or some other treat.

I'm pretty bad at eating breakfast regularly even though I know it's important to do so! When I do it varies. This morning I had an egg sunny side up, an english muffin with butter and orange juice. Sometimes I only have juice. Sometimes juice and fruit. Sugar overload! Maybe that should be a resolution: eat a healthy breakfast every day. :)

Brandi {not your average ordinary}

Right now, I'm seriously stuck in a breakfast rut. I have plain oatmeal every day. I like its simplicity to start the day, but I always crave something more interesting once I finish.

Jo

That looks beautiful, I love your photos. I'm not a huge breakfast person, but my kiddo loves nutella on bread. And he can eat that every.single.day. for MONTHS!! I don't know how he does that :)

Sara/Matchbox Kitchen

I definitely go through phases. I was once on a huge granola kick and made my own granola for months, then making my own yogurt, then making granola bars. Right now it's steel cut oatmeal with honey, but I feel a new phase coming on...

Vickie

usually I have either fruit & yoghurt, or muesli with fruit & juice (kind of like bircher muesli). & every so often I have tea & toast instead :)

Kayla @ Exquisite Banana

I'm going to start packing my yogurt/granola/banana/honey combo in little canning jars and keeping them at work. Otherwise, I'll eat a breakfast of goldfish and apple juice with the kiddos (or worse yet, pick up a greasy sausage & egg croissant from the street vendor). On the weekend, I go all out though...T and I love cooking huge brunches.

Claire@gibson king

That sounds yummy, I am going to have to give that a try. I am on a shredded wheat, peanut butter and bandanna kick right now. Happy new year!

Truly Smitten

I LOVE this combo. Except I do plain greek yogurt with fresh berries, granola and a sprinkle of honey. So yummy! Happy New Year!!!

Kathryn

I go through phases as well and sometimes the phase is having something different everyday! :)
